Every now and then I am asked about permissions that Gemini Calendar needs. Most of these questions comes from the users that are afraid of loosing their data or - to say this simple - they are afraid of being hacked. As an Android user I understand these concerns very well. Below is the list of permissions asked by Gemini Calendar and my personal explanation, why I need them. This is NOT official Google explanation for permissions in Android OS, I am writing this in respond to user's questions.

General info.

Mobile Paprika (former Gemini Mobile) was found in 2010, however, as a programmer, I have over 13 years of experience (C, C++, Java and now Android). Generally speaking, computer technology, programming, mobile technology and telecommunication were always among my interests. In Mobile Paprika, I develop applications for Android Operating System. My main product is Gemini Calendar, which was introduced in April 2010 and is constantly developed. Gemini Calendar was born to meet my own requirements about the calendar application in Android. This great, evolving operating system is young and it lacks some features that are present in other systems. One of the weakness of Android is the calendar, so I decided to write my own.
